Juan RIOS was born in 1995, but his refined style has years of experimentation on its back, always looking for the perfect sound. His prolific work is quite recognizable thanks to the mixture of chill and lofi on relaxed beats full of nuances. He reached that point after a period working on nineties sounds, including boom bap, a popular style on the Spanish underground scene.

His journey into lofi reached his first milestone with the release of Sumergido (2015, Vinyl Digital) with Made in M. He also shares with him beats from La Isla (2017, Guayaba Records), the first EP from the Spanish rapper Lasser; both are part of the 5 members collective FANSO, but Juan adds collabs with some great names such as Obijuan, Emune, +ma, Laqueus or Lord Space.

He’s still a bedroom producer, but from there he has achieved a place between the names shared by ChillHop. Other works include the side A of KO-OP 1 (2017, Melting Pot) with Smoke Trees and the Beats from Energeia (2017, MadPleure / 2018, Guayaba Records) in collaboration with the Spanish rapper Soukin. More great works: Fossils, released and auto produced in 2018, and Natura (2017, Guayaba Records), an instrumental EP inspired by natural elements that entered on international playlists (Lush Lofi, Chill Instrumental Beats) on Spotify.
